One day in the early 1980s, we happened to come across an excellent music stand. With no experience in the music trade, we decided that we could learn more about it, and made up our minds to become retailers.

Thus began our story as retilers of high class products in the music trade.

A little of everything

Already in 1980 we started our company Bison Produkter. At that time we were kind of general traders, with a rather varied selection of products. During the company´s first ten years, it was run from home. more like a spare time activity.

In addition to our sales of music stands, we bought and sold berries and mushrooms, and also did the accounts for other small firms in the area.

The nest became too small

Over time, the musical product business unexpectedly developed into the proverbial cuckoo in the nest and pushed the other concerns out. The music stands were joined by orchestra chairs, stage and podium systems.

At the beginning of the 1990s we were fully fledged. It was time to leave the small nest. We invested in new buildings, hired more staff and converted the firm into a limited company.

This proved to be a good idea.

Today we are market leaders in Scandinavia.
